On April 3rd, 2014, the Junction City Lions Club celebrated its 85th year in the community by hosting a dinner at the Shadow Hills Country Club. As part of the special night, the Lions Club recognized local individuals and businesses that have shown support over the years by awarding them with the Vision & Fellowship Award.
Barbara and Shannon Nill, from Guaranty Chevrolet were one of the few recipients of this special award. Others recipients included Lochmead Farms, B & I Hardware, J.C. Safeway, Bob and Terry Lee, Hurd’s Hardware, Les Schwab Tire Center.
The Lions have served both the Junction City and Harrisburg Community’s for the past 85 years, providing eyeglasses and hearing aids to those in need.
