Coachmen RVs feature Azdel Composite panels to replace wood in the sidewalls. Azdel Composite panels are constructed with a blend of polypropylene and fiberglass to create an extremely strong and lightweight wall. These walls are 50% lighter than wood and impervious to water. They have three times the insulation value of wood and are formaldehyde free. The composite panels are sound and energy absorbing making for a quieter RV with stronger sidewalls to help prevent damage.
Coachmen Chaparral
The Chaparral has been the flagship fifth wheel of Coachmen for over a decade. There are three bunk models in the Chaparral line including the 367BH. It has five slide-outs to allow for optimum living space. This model has a queen bed, two tri-fold sofas, a flip-down bunk and a bunk over the outdoor kitchen. It also has theater seating, entertainment center, free standing dining table and kitchen island. In addition, The Coachmen Chaparral 367BH has two full bathrooms. Another bunk model is the 360IBL with two double bunks in a slide out in a private room with overhead storage. For the smaller family the 27RKS may be more suitable. With theater seating, tri-fold sofa, free standing dining table with four chairs and a queen bed it’s perfect for a couple. The Chaparral 27RKS has a GVWR of just 12,000 pounds and measures 33’ 6” long. 
The Coachmen Chaparral has six floor plans that are not bunk models but still provide sleeping for four with a queen bed and tri-fold sofa. The Chaparral 370FL has a front living room with two tri-fold sofas and a queen bed allowing it to sleep up to six adults comfortably. The Coachmen Chaparral 392MBL has a den with a tri-fold sofa, removable table, separate entertainment center and wardrobe. There is also a loft above this room so this model can sleep up to eight. The Chaparral 27RKS, 298RLS, 367BH, 373MBRB, 392MBL and the 397QSMB-DSO all have outdoor kitchens which are a nice feature for the outdoorsy type.
Coachmen Chaparral Lite
Coachmen Chaparral Lite Fifth Wheels are designed with great aerodynamics and lightweight materials to provide half-ton pickup owners an RV that pulls incredibly light but lives exceptionally large. The combination of Alumicage construction and Turn Tec Engineering has taken tow-ability to a whole new level. The aerodynamic design and Turn Tec Engineering in the Chaparral Lite and the Chaparral X-Lite may even negate the need for expensive slider hitches.
The Chaparral Lite has nine floor plans, three of which are bunk models with the ability to sleep the whole family so there is one to fit any lifestyle. The Chaparral Lite 274BH for sale at Guaranty RV has a bunkhouse in the rear with three bunks and plenty of storage. Another bunk model is the 295BH. This is a 34’ 7” fifth wheel with two double bunks in the rear and a pull out outdoor kitchen with a grill. Several of the other Chaparral Lite models have outdoor entertainment and/or kitchens as well. The 29BH has four bunks in the rear bunkhouse with the living area centrally located and a queen bed in the front bedroom. Coachmen Chaparral X-Lite
Coachmen Chaparral X-Lite fifth wheels offer four top selling floorplans in an affordable, value packed design for half ton trucks. Two of the Chaparral X-Lite floorplans are bunk models. They are the 274X and the 395X with two double bunks. For those who don’t need the bunk models there is the 284X with a 78” tri-fold sofa, theater seating, kitchen island and outdoor entertainment center. The Chaparral X-Lite 284X has opposing slides in the living area to maximize living space. There is also the 285X-DSO which has the same features as the 284X but also has a wardrobe slide out in the bedroom. Coachmen Chaparral X-Lite fifth wheels range from 33 to 35 feet long and have GVWR ranging from 11,000 to 11,500 pounds.
