Road Trip, or the importance of our RV Shows

Yesterday, I, along with Kendra and Liz went to go see our offsite event in Coos Bay at the Mill Casino. I try to get people who don’t normally get out and about to visit some of these events to get a sense of one of the ways we make our money. As a lot of you know, we do approximately 30 or so offsite events a year. We travel to Roseburg, Coos Bay, Canyonville, Medford, Klamath Falls, Albany, Hillsboro, Rainier, Canby, and Salem generally twice a year, and then some other smaller locations at other times. These events account for almost 45% of the sales we make in a year so they are an important part of what we do, but as anyone who works them will tell you, it is a hard way of making a living. Our staff is away from home and family, working in hard conditions, trying to do the same great work we all do here at home but without all the support. You all work hard, and I want you to, there is honor and dignity in doing that, it is one of the things that sets us apart from other dealerships, the ability and willingness to work hard. For the next couple of weeks I plan to recognize you all in the groups you work with and let the rest of the dealership know what you are up to and how you support what we are all about here at Guaranty. So to the show crew, all of you out there, great job and keep up the good work.

Have a great weekend everybody.
