Fuel Efficient Class A Motorhomes

Update: In November 2015, Winnebago decided to reintegrate its Itasca vehicles under the Winnebago name. These great models will continue, but under the Winnebago name instead of Itasca.

When shopping for a Class A Motorhome, keeping fuel efficiency in mind will save you money at the pump in the future. If this is as important to you as it is to us (and we think it should be!), here is a list of some of our best Class A models for fuel efficiency.

As far as used models go, the 2007 Forest River Georgetown is great for fuel efficiency. Because it runs on gas, it is cheaper than a diesel engine from the start. It also comes with a beautiful interior, complete with a mirrored wardrobe and a spacious kitchen. If you’re traveling with the whole family, you’ll be glad to know this model has a double bunk, couch and queen-sized bed, so there’s always plenty of sleeping room!

2013 Newmar Bay Star Sport is another excellent model if fuel efficiency is a priority. This Class A motorhome has a central air conditioning system, modern kitchen appliances and additional exterior storage. For those of you who’d like an elegant model, this is definitely one you should see.

Another gas-fueled model is the 2013 Itasca Sunstar — again, great for fuel economy. This motorhome is family friendly thanks to plenty of space and storage throughout. It also features a 42” LCD TV, which complements the rest of its sophisticated interior.

We encourage all of our customers to focus on fuel efficiency when shopping for class A motorhomes, as it ensures less money spent in the long run. Please Contact us for more information on how you can begin your RV journey.
