The beautiful thing about RVing is that you can see so many different landscapes all in one trip–from the forest, to the river, to the coastline, the scenery you can explore during your adventure is endless. Here are some of our favorite places to visit around our home state of Oregon in our RVs:
1. Loon Lake
This is one of our favorite RV resorts in the state! Loon Lake is popular for its boat, Jet Ski and houseboat rentals. The lake is located just outside of Reedsport and is a great place for that fishing trip you’ve been meaning to plan!
2. Willamette National Forest
“Willamette” refers to both the national forest and river located in western Oregon. The national forest is perfect for hiking and camping and makes a beautiful stop for your next RV trip.
3. Deschutes River
After you see the forest, head over to the Deschutes River for mountain biking, rafting and other outdoor recreation. This spot is a perfect addition to your trip if you’re looking for activities for the whole family!
When it comes to RVing, you don’t have to choose between spending time at the forrest, river or elsewhere–there’s time to do and see everything. As long as the campsite is RV friendly, your options of where to travel across the state are unlimited!
