On March 16, 2017, Guaranty RV held a celebratory gathering at the Guaranty Motorized Showcase. Guaranty recently won the prestigious 2016 Newmar Mahlon Miller Service Excellence
award and the 2016 Newmar Platinum Dealer
awards and representatives from Newmar Corporation came to present this nationally recognized award to Guaranty. Mahlon Miller was the founder of Newmar Corp. and the award in his name recognizes those dealerships that most embody the spirit of customer service. Through his guidance and leadership, customer service will be forever ingrained into the fabric of Newmar Corp. To qualify as a platinum dealer a dealership must meet a stringent list of requirements including having a CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) score of 90% or above, pass tough facility evaluations, have a commitment to training and employ a certain percentage of technicians who are RVIA and/or RVIA master certified.

These nationally recognized awards come from a commitment to superior customer service. John Sammut, Newmar's VP of Sales and Marketing, spoke to the crowd about team effort these award require to win. From the service advisors, parts counter people, service managers, to the technicians all doing quality work. "We try to build these coaches as best as we possibly can. That is a target that we keep an eye on but we know we are not perfect and the product is not perfect and we got room to do better. But knowing that these are houses on wheels and they do go down the road and they shake and rattle and things are going to go wrong we are proud to have a partner like Guaranty RV to represent us in Oregon."
A cadre of Guaranty employees and staff gathered to hear the representatives from Newmar and Guaranty speak, receive their trophies and thank them for a year of hard work and great customer service. With the forecast of the current CSI numbers the management at Guaranty looked forward to another year of fantastic customer service and the possibility of future awards to come.
